Refund & Cancellation Policy
Veyra does not charge for access today, and has no payment system connected. This page says that plainly, explains how to cancel and what happens to your records, and sets out what will apply if paid plans are introduced later.
What Veyra charges today
Nothing. Veyra is free to use while it is in early development. There is no subscription, no paid tier, no trial that turns into a paid plan, and no payment processor connected to the product. Veyra collects no card, bank or billing details of any kind.
Because of that, there is no invoice, no billing period, no renewal date and no charge to dispute. If you are ever asked to pay for Veyra by anything claiming to be us, it is not us; please write to the address at the bottom of this page.
Refunds
There is nothing to refund, because nothing has been charged. No refund can be requested, and none is owed, for any period up to the date at the top of this page.
If that changes, a refund position will be published here before the first payment is taken, and it will apply to the plan you signed up to rather than being written after the fact.
How to cancel
Cancelling Veyra means closing your account. There are two ways to do it, and both are free:
- In the application. Open Settings → Data and danger zone → Delete account. You will be asked for your password and for a short confirmation phrase, because the action cannot be undone.
- By email. Write to drew.weber2028@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask for your account to be deleted. It will be actioned manually.
You can also simply stop using Veyra. Nothing accrues, nothing is billed, and no notice period applies, although leaving the account open leaves your records stored, which is why deleting it is the cleaner option.
When cancellation takes effect
- Deleting in the application is immediate. Your sessions end at once, you are signed out everywhere, and the records described below are removed straight away. There is no grace period and no recovery window.
- An email request is actioned manually, so allow a few days. We will confirm in writing once it is done, and we may ask one question to make sure the request really comes from the account holder.
What happens to your data
Closing your account removes:
- your account record, name and email address;
- your stored password hash and every session;
- your membership of every workspace;
- every workspace where you are the only member, together with all of its products, stock levels, movement history, suppliers, purchase orders, sales history and integration connections.
A workspace that other people also belong to is not deleted. Those records belong to that business as well as to you, and the remaining members keep them; your membership is removed and ledger entries you recorded stop being attributed to you. If you are the owner of a shared workspace and want the whole thing removed, say so in your request.
Deleted data is removed from the live database immediately, and copies may persist for a time in the database provider's automatic backups until those age out.
Take a copy first if you need one. Veyra has no self-service export yet, and deletion cannot be reversed. If you want your records before the account closes, ask for them by email and they will be sent to you; request that before deleting, not afterwards.
If you connected a point-of-sale system, you can disconnect it at any time from Settings → Connected systems. Disconnecting revokes the access Veyra was given and keeps the products and history already imported; deleting the workspace removes those too. Nothing Veyra does deletes anything inside your point-of-sale account itself.
If paid plans are introduced
Veyra may charge for access in future. If that happens, all of the following will be true before any money is taken:
- the price, the billing period and what each plan includes will be published on the site;
- no existing account will be charged without first agreeing to a price; an account that does nothing will not start being billed;
- this page will be rewritten to state the actual refund terms, the cancellation procedure, whether cancellation ends access immediately or at the end of a paid period, and how any pro-rata amount is handled;
- the payment provider used will be named in the Privacy Policy, along with what is sent to it.
Until that work is done, treat this page as complete and current: Veyra is free, and nothing is owed in either direction.
